Belle Hemming is an interior stylist and decorator with over 20 years’ experience in the interior design industry. Originally from Sydney, Belle now lives just outside of Melbourne in the beautiful hamlet of Glenlyon. Passionate about fabrics, colour and sourcing unique pieces, Belle’s signature style can be described as both modern and eclectic with an added bohemian twist.
Belle’s versatile approach to design is reflected in her innate ability to find the place where both beautiful aesthetics and a personal connection to a space coexist.
Earlier on in her career, Belle was a visual merchandiser for leading homeware brands and small independent stores before moving into residential and commercial interior design with some of Sydney’s top interior styling and decorating companies.
For the past 15 years, Belle has been self employed as a freelance interior stylist and decorator - drifting between projects in Sydney, Byron Bay, Melbourne, rural Victoria and now Australia wide. Belle has also worked as an editorial stylist with some of Australia’s top photographers and magazines.
She was also one half of Inside Story for over four years, a collaboration between Belle and Lynda Gardener - stylist, decorator, boutique hotelier and all-round creator of beautiful spaces.
